The first matter I would focus on, you didn't list...that would be health care for people that have fallen between the cracks. The ones that make a few dollars more then what the state and/or Federal governments allow.
The second thing would be to start pulling troops out of Iraq. I could never understand why we went there. They had nothing to do with 9/11.
With money saved from fighting an unwinable war, I would start creating jobs and bringing business back to this country much like Roosevelt did. I would also raise the minimum wage to a livable wage. All people on Welfare would have to apply for these newly created government jobs or the military or they would receive nothing.

The war in Iraq. If they want to they could have found and killed Bin Laden. I agree no religion in politics. These are all good things to focus on but this is the world we live in right now and if we had a good president they would fix these things.

I would end the socialist programs our government currently has in place, end welfare gradually, and pull religion out of government as much as possible. I would make churches pay taxes, and allow capitalism to reform itself with as little prodding as possible. I would also make rehab for drug users mandatory, and not allow people to leave prison until they have been clean for 6 months or more (and I would make prisoners pay for their own keep through mandatory prison labor). I think I would also make high school more difficult and stop foreign intervention other than food and medical relief.

I would focus on nothing you said.....we have 20 MILLION terrorist threatening America & Americans way of life everyday. After I rid our country of this threat, I would only have #1 & 2 on your list to worry about! Simple, isn't it?
