Doubt it. The death of a national figure, or a national tragedy is rarely a day off, unless the tragedy was local or the figure's death was made a holiday. And since the latter has yet to happen, and it wasn't necessarily a sudden death, you'll probably have school.

Possibly, considering that Bush has declared tomorrow a federal *holiday* - it's a "day of mourning" for former U.S. president Gerald Ford's passing.

Post offices & banks will probably be closed, too.

It's a 1-time federal holiday. My school posted a notice on their website that they will be closed. However, schools aren't *required* to close. Call and ask.

well it is possible , i do know that all government offices such as banks and post offices are closed tomorrow,in honor or Ford.
