send your kids to private school. I know I did and never regretted the expense.my husband agrees. If you want your kids safe, spend the money on a private education. they have higher standards and don't hire fruits for faculty.

You sound upset. Why don't you talk to your school board to learn more about the subject before calling other people "perverted"? Talking with your school board is the best way for you to take action.
But why use the "perverted" word here at all?!! It makes others like me think you are attacking and expressing opinion instead of asking a legitimate question.
Were your question not listed on the LGBT forum, but on one for school board issues then you might have been in a more appropriate forum. Try your question at "Society & Culture > Community Service" and see what happens.

Homosexuality is not a perverted sexual act! And there is nothing wrong with kids going to school with gays, they need to learn about it sooner or later. Like others have said its not like its being teached its just not being banned from the schools.

oh dear...
its good to have an opinion, but perhaps said with a bit more sensitivity would get you more informative, less angry answers.
you cant keep something thats so prominant away from your children whether you think its perverted or not, its a way of life for millions of people and elements of it will be taught in school, just the same as hetrosexual topics.
do your children a favour and let them learn these things for themselves, if you try and hide things from them they will only go out and discover them without you knowing.

look, i think it should be taught above the age of 14, when children become teenagers in fruition and know wht it feels to make a choice between the two. Below that age it just isn;t possible to tell whether a child is gay or not.

Please define, " other perverted sexual acts " Y not worry they might turn into a binge drinking , drug taking ,hoodie wearing thug,or teenage mother. We seem to be so much better than the rest of Europe in producing them. Oh and I forgot,unable to read or write after leaving school at 16.

Try private school. Even though I'm gay, I DO think that homosexuality shouldn't be taught about in elementary schools. However, homosexuality isn't about "perverted sexual acts" darling, I'm a homosexual and I'm a virgin. Homosexuality is just a different type of love than the one you're obviously used to. Because those little loves that will grow up to be into "perverted sexual acts" need to be educated the same as those who will be into acts that gays might consider to be "perverted".
Stop'em? I think you'll find that it isn't for the teaching of it, that the kiddies will turn gay. Otherwise, when I was growing up and Sex Ed consisted of how to make babies, I would not have considered sleeping with men.

The only way you can keep your children from learning about homosexuality is to put them in a bubble or lock them up in the house for the rest of their lives. What is so wrong with children learning about homosexuality? Do you think they're that naive that they're going to turn homosexual by just learning about it? You're not going to keep children from learning about homosexuality just like you're not going to keep kids from seeing violence and sex images. Maybe it should be you learning more about homosexuality so you can have more of an understanding of that lifestyle instead of treating it like it's the bubonic plague or something!

Why don't you just keep your children home for the rest of their lives watching Tom and Gerry?
It is because of people like you that this world is not a better world.
First of all, there is nothing perverted about gay sex. You might end up with a gay child, and since gay teenagers have the
highest suicide rate, you might be lucky and have your child kill themselves, once they realize what a bigoted mother you are.

It's not perverted! But it is scary to think my son could be taught to lift white t-shirts and giggle like Mickey Mouse on drugs.
