Do children legally have the right to say no if the parents want to send the child away to another country alone?

Just a hypothetical question. Say the child is 14 or 15 and someone would meet that child there. Could the child refuse to leave the country?

not unless there is some issue of child endangerment, neglect, etc, which it sounds as though there very well could be. But can a kid refuse to go on an airplane to go see grandma in Canada? No.

Why would a parent want to send their child to another country alone. If they do not have a right they should!
How old is this child?

You don't have any legal power unless it is an issue of abuse, neglect or endangerment. You can't call the cops or anything (there's nothing they can do), but I suppose you could call child protective services. In theory though, why would your parents send you if you were that upset? If they did anyway, it seems likely they would have a good reason.

Definetly!
Everybody in America is free.
The parents would get arrested though, and the child would probably go to an adoption center or a foster home.
