my shadow is so scary he will kick the other shadows butt then lay me out just for fun, no matter how much i run he's always rite behind me!!!! ♥

Well.....I admit to being a really jumpy, fearful person once, when I was younger (grade school to middle school age), and in particular, shadows were one of the things that made me twitchy.
But I think it depends more on what the shadow *does* than anything. As others have mentioned, the absence of a shadow where there should really be one--out in broad daylight for example, full sunlight--is creepy itself.
So too are twitchy, spazzy, flickery shadows where you don't expect them, like what can happen when a *moth* gets in the house late at night and starts strobing off the nightlights with rapid wingbeats. (Hint: Moths+old flourescent lights= Evil!)
But the main thing is when you sort of half-see a shadow out of the corner of your eye--peripheral vision, which is not that precise anyway--move in a manner that your "lizard brain" sees as unnatural. Say you see *something* move, and it seems solid enough but then it ends up twisting or flickering or outright contorting in a shadow-like manner when it didn't *register* on you that it *was* a shadow and not something solid.
That could make anyone jump out of their skin at least once. :)

Well it depends. If you are scared of your own shadow you have to have a reason... is it the look of it ... or is it just to dark to handle. If it's the second one then you'll most likely be scared of someone else's.

Logically, if your own shadow scares you someones else's would scare you more.

well i think that u wouldnt be as scared cuz well its not following u so i dont think that u would be as scared as ur own shadow

Other people's shadows aren't following me so I probably would be fine with them.
