I live in the Rotherham/Sheffield area, so if you know a good shop please let me know.
Any online shops with fair P&P?
Does anyone know what hobby craft is like price wise for clay?

I take it you're not in the US, so I wouldn't know anything local -- except that like here, probably craft shops, art supply shops, etc., would probably have them.

Do you know what type of "air-dry" clay you want??
There are *lots* of types of air-dry clay (as well as various brands for each type, and many you can make at home), and the different ones will have widely different handling characteristics, look different when they're finished, and vary a lot in strength and suitable projects, etc.

Create and Craft has a good web site and reasonable prices but most local Art or Craft supply shops should sell it! Try looking in your local telephone directory. I prefer the local shop as I can buy just small quantities! Hope you find what you need.

Don't know about online shops, but the Early Learning Centre is really good for air drying clay. Not too expensive, and you can buy it in different size packets.
