Yes, but we have not evolved enough. We still have this core of conservatism that a leader needs to be this strong protective father figure. Fallow the group not the leader.

The strengths about a woman in leadership is that they are compassionate and can see things in many different lights and different sides. Their decisions are often based on the greater good of everyone involved and tend to not be as harsh and abrupt as a male. The weakness of women in leadership can be what makes them strong at times; the emotional aspect. A bad female leader can take their employees on an emotional roller coaster with her, especially if its a female who feels like she has something to prove.

If you want to find happiness in that environment, depending on your level in the company, you're just going to have to deal. I find that emotional people like that don't last long, though. Do your job day to day, by the book. Be the best at your job for your position and always do things in the spirit of the greater good of your company. Leave yourself out. If you're doing what you need to do, her weaknesses will come out to her boss and she will be eliminated. That's the way it always works.

There are plenty of women who are in charge because they're smart and they deserve it, however, there are some women who only get promoted for equal-rights causes... they're usually confused a lot, let their employees make decisions for them, etc... I had a former boss who was female and extremely unqualified.

Not to say there aren't unqualified male bosses, though.

EDIOT (for the guy above): Want me to name about a dozen unqualified politicians and businessmen on the left hand side of politics or should we just stay where you left us? Completely unbalanced.

you can trust the women leadership in EVERYTHING when you provide her with a good education and non discriminational atmosphere
women has all it takes to be whatever they want to be but they should be treated fair by the society and all it`s members.

I don't think one can generalise. Let's face it, not all men cannot be trusted in leadership in politics, business, education, etc. Can we trust Bush after the WMD lies? Can we trust the former managers of Enron? Can we trust former Congressman Mark Foley?
