one of the cool things about yahoo answers is that you can browse through questions that other people have asked.
in your case, if you go to the "search for questions" space and type in "wii 360 ps3" you will be able to see [currently] the 806 other times this question has been asked - possibly get better answers. you'll definately find more opinions

That depends on what you are looking for. The xbox 360 has more games obviously because it has been out longer. The Wii has more of a kid-like feel to it and the games are much simpler. The price difference between a basic 360 and a Wii is only $50, but the hardware on the 360 is leaps and bounds above it. There is also a well built online gaming community for Xbox. I would have to say the Xbox overall is a better system.

I personally think Nintendo Wii's better because the remote controls it comes with are so unique and I heard they give you a good workout. Also, it comes with a reasonable price, unlike the Xbox 360 or the PS3.

Depends on your taste in vid games. The wii's hardware is far inferior, FPS games seem to have trouble with the new control scheme, but it has lots of first party exclusives that make it a must have for a lot of people (Zelda, Mario). Has good games so far but it remeains to be seen how much 3rd party developers take up the system. Plus it's cheap compared to the other two.
The 360 is nice in the hardware department; has some beautiful games to it's name. 3rd party developers like microsoft for it's friendliness (that's a first, hah!) so the future library of games looks promising. But still, microsoft lacks the classics, they don't have a Zelda or a Final Fantasy.
Anyways if you wanna make a longterm investment with the console you buy now then it's a threeway tossup, all 3 bigguns out now have a shot at the top or the bottom. "Safest" would be a wii, since it will get it's share of marios and metroids, even if it fails, but ofcourse neither console is a great choice if it fails (except if one of the exclusives is a must have for you - like for example the N64 "failed" but i'd still buy one for Mario Kart and OoT/MM).

it depends if u want 2 b able 2 get a lot of games xbox360 cuz its been out longer and has better graphics but if u want a complete gaming experience get the wii its more interactive and more fun i think i have 1 and my cousin have a 360 i like the wii better and so does he cuz like i sade its interactive and its a lot funner the sitting down on a couch or in a chair just using ur fingers getting fat with the wii u can exersice and practicaly b in the game and when it multipalyer its awsum!!!!!!!!!!! its not about whose better at the game i can also b about who is in better shape i definitly 100 percent think the the wii is better and is a lot funner but the 360 has better graphics and more games but its up 2 u wut u want 2 get if it was me id get the wii even tho i already have 1 u can never hav 2 many wiis lol but yea wii all the way

Well if your an adult the xbox 360 probably would be better. But for a kid or a family probably the WII. but if you are older and really like good games with graphics nothing beats the PS3.

Nintendo Wii
If you are looking for a cheaper system
Like all the nintendo characters (mario, luigi, etc.)
Like the new Wii remote and its style of use
Xbox 360
If you don't mind paying a little bit more
want to take advantage of the High Definition from your HDTV
could benefit from adding a HD-DVD add-on to your unit
Demand better graphics

the Xbox 360 is WAY betterbecause : graphics ,online, there are more games, the games are better,and the sytem and company are more trusted than other producers.besides the Wii is being takien off the market.

yeah going along with micheal l's answer, it depends on your interests. the 360 is for more of the hardcore gamers because of all its unique features it comes with (online capability, downloadable content, a WIDE variety of numerous action/adventure games, etc). The wii is kinda for... well, nintendo fans out there. Lol it's like they're a completley different race.
