If n Hotmail email address is shut down through non activity how long before the name can be used again?

I have a email address that is shut down. when can i get another email address using the same alias. So my email address is Xpert_conqueror@..... when can i sign up with Xpert_conqueror@.... again?

Contact hotmail, chances are the will re-instate it for you, they did this for me awhile back
