Is a friend really a friend if she continually finds something to get mad and then expect me to always come back to her? She is my best friend and i am always getting crucified and chastised for the littlest or nothing at all.. I'm really starting to wonder if it's me she likes or my age.. (( im 1 year or 2 older))... I need advice as to whether I should keep taking this..

Don't take any more of her crap. You seem like a great girl to be friends with. Don't let her boss you around. There are tons of people that want to be your new best friends. Don't let her hold you back from all that! Good luck and tell her buh bye

No, you should not keep taking it. Go to her and say this:

X, I am really upset by the fighting that has been going on between you and I. The things that upset you seem to be so trivial to me, so I am wondering if there is a bigger issue that you are afraid to talk to me about.

If she says yes, then hear her out and address the issue.

If she says no, say, maybe you and I need to take a break for a couple of weeks and decide if this is a friendship that we really want to continue. I have to be honest with you and let you know that unless something changes, I can't continue this way. What are your thoughts?

No, you shouldn't keep taking it. It sounds like she can't feel good about herself unless she brings you down. Friends don't do that. Friends are there for you when you get in trouble, FROM SOMEONE ELSE. Find some friends who value you for who you are now, not your age or whatever it is. Good luck.

No she is not your friend. I have a best friend and whether I am wrong or right she always support my decisions and I do the same for her. That's what best friends are for.
