You either have to buy the Mac version or you can buy a program that allows you to install Windows which will give you the required applications. The Windows thing cost $80.00 and The Sims 2 cost $50.00. If you go with the Windows installer, your computer will be vulnerable to viruses since you will have Windows. To purchase it go to an Apple store or www.apple.com and then go to store and type in the game title.

***All the new Macs do have the Intel Based Processor in its computers but you still need to purchase the Windows programs. It just means that your computer is capable of supporting Windows, not that you can use Windows games (unless you have that program).

No, "the for windows" games are meant to be used with the windows operating system. So no, it won't work. Buy a copy from a mac store if they sell them.

If you have an Intel based processing unit in your computer, then you can. I'm fairly sure that pretty much all the new macs have an Intel based processor.
Good luck to you!
