Because sometimes during sex, bodily fluids get in or around the urethral area and cause minor inflammation. The burning is just an effect of the urine cleansing the urethra. If it persists, you may get a urinary tract infection.
If it is a one time thing, and always occurs after sex just once and then doesn't occur again (and you know 100% that you have no STDs) there is no cause to worry.

Well Jenn, I would guess that you have a floral body started, most likely called a "yeast infection" what kind? that's up to the lab doing the test. The best way to get this taken care of is to see your doctor and get the test, the meds.
You can go with a "monostat" or a "Morning star" but, that's shooting in a barrel. You can start drinking cranberry juice, about four ounces every morning and eating a cup of yogurt twice a day, you'd be surprised at how much this helps.

STD's aren't determined right away, so forget that from others writting here. Remember there was friction involved so the sesation will go away over time. Next time add in a lubericant to prevent this occurance can help.
If it doesn't go away with in 24-48 hours then get a Drs visit in, but if it goes away it was from the friction involved, also condoms being a good protectant can absorb any mositure.

You must be really satisfied during sex. It is either he knows how to produce a clitoral contact while "pumping" or just gently biting your clitoris for a longer period of time. I have a similar complain from my young girl friend but she was never sick at all. In fact, she is fully lubricated because she releases that "white stuff" most of the time. Prolonging the foreplay did not help her irritations at all. Try applying Vaseline around your clitoris. He may not like the taste but it will improve your irritations.

It doesn't automatically have to be a UTI or any infection. If he went down on you and has a mustache or beard...or perhaps is was ruff sex...it could irratate the area around where you pee and burn. I'd give it another day and see if it goes away.

If it's directly after sex then we need more info.
Did you use a condom, and maybe lube, if so you may be having a reaction to a chemical in it
If it is directly after sex IGNORE AYONE WHO TELLS YOU IT IS AN STD
You will not get symptoms immediately

Sounds like you need to get tested for an STD...
Planned Parenthood should do it for free- and give meds...
But you might also have a bladder infection... again PP will help you there...

Sounds like you have a UTI. Either that or some other sexually transmitted infection. Go see your doctor.
