I am thinking of updating my wireless network security and I am considering bit defender but I'm not sure whether I would require a separate firewall. Initially I need to install it on just one computer but I have two others on the network in which case I would need to know if I can buy a multiple license.

Depends on the version. They make one that is just anti-virus and one that is a full suite (anti-virus, firewall, etc). Check the control panel for the program. If there is nowhere to configure the firewall, then you do not have the firewall version.

Yes, bit defender does have a built-in firewall. I believe you will be able to install it on all the computers.

It depends on your version. Bit defender standard is only antivirus, NOT firewall. Consult the bit defender website on the version you have to see if it includes a firewall.

no...it is just an anti-virus program....you will need a seperate firewall like Zone Alarm or Sygate however both of these include anti virus software in the program.....if you know where to go you can get it for free with licence
