I own my own animal sitting business and I usually base it first on the distance it takes for me to drive to the place. I get all my clients through my work so i usually base the distance from there but if its someone else I base it from the distance of my home. I go sometimes to houses just to give cats medication and I chanrge her just 10 a day, but then theres other jobs I do where I charge 60 a day. So it all depebds, I feel like 10 a day is a reaonable price to pay, so 50 a week. Its not too hard to walk a dog, but like I said if its really far for you to drive then i would factor in gas money

well I charged $13 per day for 1 dog for a 20 minute walk but it depended on how easy the dog is to walk and the dogs size

I have paid the neighborhood boy to walk my dog.
It was his first job, I taught him how to walk the dog first.
He had to pick up any business that was dropped. Ugh!
But he got $6 per 20 minute walk. And most of the time he didn't really walk that long.
I let him just come over anytime and take my dog at his convenience. So when he needed $30 bucks for a new video game my two dogs got walked a lot. When he didn't need the money we didn't see him for a while.
This worked out really well for he, my dogs and I.
Good luck.

When I was on vacation, I hired a dog walker for a week (6 days), but my neighbor fed the dog. The total charge to me was $50.00. It would have cost me more if they walked AND fed him.

I'm thinking about that myself, but I'm just so busy. I would charge $15. an hour. If you charge 15. a day, thats 75. for five days, for one dog. Hope you get more dogs.

When I did it I didn't put my prices on my fliers, I would just bargan with each individual person depending on the dog, and their financal abilities.
