I'm asking this question because I remember Dodger fans statements when Bonds was close to breaking Big Mac's record at Dodger Stadium.

He should be booed and heckled out every game he plays this year. If he breaks the homer record then baseball records don't mean anything anymore.

He's a little boring, but his stories are amazing. Earlier this year, when the Giants came down to town, Vin Scully told a story about how Angel Pagan has incredible vision, being able to see something 400-feet ahead of him crystal clear. He uses his great eye-sight to his advantage against pitchers, as he's able to pick up the spin of the ball right as it's being released from the pitcher's hand. Another great Scully story I've listened to came during an interleague game between the Dodgers and Angels last year. It was a rookie hazing story about how Angels players went out to eat at a fancy restaurant with Mike Trout. At the end of the dinner, they left Trout with a four-figure restaurant bill, something Trout wasn't prepared for. Since he didn't have his wallet with him, he had to sit there in the restaurant for an hour, waiting for his agent to come by and pick up his bill. This is a story to which not even Angels commentators are privy. Little stories like the ones just mentioned make me appreciate Scully's baseball wisdom and knowledge. He may not have the energy he once had, but I can't blame him. He's, what, in his 80's now? I'm an Angels fan, but I respect the hell out of him. When the Angels and Dodgers face-off, I always tune into the Dodgers channel.
