only if you have wireless some of the barges on the canal don't have a land line at all but they have wireless broadband from three c Internet,

Some states allow "naked DSL" which unbundles the phone and DSL service. Check with BT to see if this is your case. If not, you should look at the cable providers in your area.

well if you have wi-fi enabled you could scan to see if your neighbours do and if any of them have been dim enough to leave an open/unprotected connection... and away you go! thats naughty though.
