was playing thar level on halo 2 when he firsts gets onto the 2nd halo. after i killed the prophet of regret, cortana said that most spaceships were coming to attack the base (or something along those lines) and then master cheif ran and jumped off into the water, and 2 master cheifs came out the space ship, and then when cheif was floating to the bottom of the lake, these tentacles grabbed him around the waist. can some one tell in good detail what happend? thanks

its some weird beast, the 2 master chiefs are reflections, and the beast talks for a while then transports you

so far all we know is that the Master Chief is the only spartan left (other than Kelly and Kurt etc... you gotta read the books). the other spartans you saw were probly reflections. the huge tentacle thingy is called Gravemind. He's sorta the floods leader. later on in the game he partners you with a being you woudnt think possible. it'll all be explained as you progress in the game

Master Chief is not the only of his kind, he is just the "Spartan" that the story is centered around. These soldiers are genetically enhanced and are given the privelege of wearing the Spartan armor.

the tentacles are alien penises. they are going to rape master cheif anime style. and the other master cheifs are clones that are sent to earth to take over. the end.

Dude you should hve watched the video. there are more than one SPARTAN class soldiers but not in the game.
