My wife goes to bed when she feels like it. She is a grown woman who can make up her own mind. On the other hand, we usually go to bed around the same time. One of us will make the comment we are heading to bed, the other usually follows.

If it's bothering you then talk to her about it. I found when we first got married that I am the night owl and he goes to bed but it bothered him that I wouldn't go to bed with him so I started going to bed, we would talk or not, let him fall asleep then I got back up and did whatever I was doing, sewing, watching TV, playing on the computer. If he had tried to "Giving me a bedtime" I woulda told him he was living in the wrong century and married the wrong person!

I am guessing, from your question, that you are somewhere between the ages of 12 to 16 and your parents do set your bedtime...and that you are trying to get a rise from people to satisfy your resentments...

Guessing from the barbaric question I suppose she does the cooking and washing of your clothes? I would watch what you eat, those chocolate chip cookies would be loaded with ex lax if my partner even told me I had a bedtime. His whites would be pink, and he would be kissing my butt, for a very long time.
Now crawl back in your cave, it's 2007, don't come out until you grow up.

My husband does not give me a time to go to bed, although I usually stay up longer than he does. If I have to stay up late, I will go in a different room, so that I won't disturb him.

I dont have a wife, if I did I woudnt give her a bedtime. She better not be doing anything like cheating while Im asleep though.

My husband throws a fit and makes my life suck if I don't goto bed when he does. Drives me crazy, and causes a huge amount of resentment. It especially makes me upset when I work night and need time to wind down before I can sleep.

I stay up until I'm ready to go to bed. My husband always turns in earlier than I do. He might coax me to bed now and then but he never tells me when to go to bed.
