from internalized racism: thinking lighter, whiter skin, blue eyes and straighter hair are better (some of us even call straight hair "good hair"). Is this a problem among blacks everywhere?

we are all victims of racism. whites get it too people. when you have a group of one race, and only one or two of another, the bigger group always picks on them, regardless of the smaller groups actions. it doesnt matter why the bigger group does it, but they do it. racism sucks, and no one is immune from the bully mentality.

I think it is more a problem in the United States because of our history of slavery. However, whereever Caucasians are a majority, and have the power, you will find racism against all other races, not just Blacks. It is interesting to note, however, that the idea of blonde hair and blue eyes being the definition of beauty is no longer as popular as it was in the 1960's - 1990's. Even among Caucasians there are more and more instances of children being born with brown eyes and darker hair.

In the UK we do suffer from internal racism same as the Americans. A major variation is the Africans vs Caribbeans situation. Its a long story but you will find a division in the older generation Africans and Caribbeans.

just the usa. but blacks may get offended if they visited poland or australia. When I went to poland in high school they called my classmate ***** and colored. They asked if she liked monkey brain and was a fan on biggie smalls (this was 1997). reason being, they were not up to date with being politcally correct. In the usa people are racist and mean it.

Many blacks in Latin America don't consider themselves black. They suffer from self-hatred. For example, blacks in the Dominican Republic consider themselves "Indian".
