Just got an iPod for christmas but I accidentally uploaded all the tracks from my computer when I charged it on my PC. I have a large quantity of unwanted tracks on my iPod how do I delete them individually or all in one go and how do I prevent them from uploading onto iPod again when I am addding more music in the future? Thanks in advance.

if you want ALL of the tracks gone..plug your ipod in..then go to your ipod tab on the left..and click "restore"

if you want individual songs off...just delete them off of your library and click "file", then "sync my ipod"

to prevent them from all uploading again..plug your ipod in...and go to your ipod tab on the left again..
there is a box that is unchecked that says "manually manage music"..
CHECK THAT BOX....
so whenever you want to update your ipod..you have to manually do it...by going to file..then sync your ipod..

GOOD LUCK DUDE

(best answer oh ya..lol)

Do the following-
1. Connect your ipod to your computer and open up your ipod music library.
2. Click the songs that you dont want. Once that is done your song will get highlighted in dark blue.
3. Press delete and say yes to the deletion key.
4. Now, the song is deleted.

right click the track in itunes and hit clear. it wont delete it off your harddrive but it will remove them from your ipod on your next update. you can delete several at one time by holding down the ctrl key and clicking the tracks you want to remove then right clicking and clearing.
