and candles lit all around. you can hear the sound of jazz softly playing in the background when, out of no where your date lets out a really loud nasty volitile fart! He/ she thinks its funny. what do you do?

laugh!!! Unfortunately my brothers made me used to it. They've done it too many times when it was quiet.

laugh it off, so he doesn't feel embarrassed. Then I'll get up and say "excuse me, I need to go to the restroom, I'll be right back". I'll call a friend and tell her my date is going horribly or just walk around for some fresh, fart-free air.

uhh, like they actually thought it was funny? or did they just laugh out of embarrassment? cuz if its the first one, i wouldn't go out with em again. if its the second, and i liked em every other way, i'd give another chance. hey, everyone has to toot once in a while!

I would laugh it off along with him and then never bring it up again. Poor guy, he is obviously laughing out of pure embarrassment. I have my downfalls too so how can I judge this poor guy because he can't control his wind.....

Look at your date, smile and say, "WOW that soup must be fresh". Try to have fun with it. Blame it on the waiter (but have the decency to give him a good tip).
