nail polish remover is the only product i know of that will remove it- heres what i would do:
use a weak nail polish remover- one with aloe in it or some kind of conditioner- it will take longer to remove the polish but will not damage the couch as much.
soak the end of a cotton swab in polish remover and lightly dab on the nail polish- try not to soak the areas where nail polish is not- dab lightly and then with the dry end of the swab try to absorb the paint-
this will be a slow process, but it should come off withthe least amount of damage to the couch.
you can always test how the nail polish remover will affect the couch material by applying some on the underside of the couch where no one can see the effect as well. that way if its going to bleach the material and make it look worse you can just try something else... i'd also do a web search on this- there are lots of tricks out there for these kinds of clean ups... i'm sure martha stewart would have something to say on this!

Depends whether it is leather or not as nail varnish remover will damage the finish.
