I pluged it into my computer and i waited about 45 minutes and it still didnt work. Do you have to have higher than windows 98? to charge?

first of all do you have a first generation one or the second generation one? becuz i think the second generation needs windows XP or sumthin like that. for the first im not sure. check on apple's website for system requirements.

I have a windows 98 and my nano charges perfectly. Take it to the apple factory outlet and they can do something.

you need to have 2000 and higher..im pretty sure..but for charging..i dont know...
get an adaptor for a wall outlet so you could charge it from there...
