I am two months away from the beginning of the track season and need some advice of what my workout should be up til then. I plan on running the 4x800, 400, and 4x400...i have ran the 400 meter dash before and it is mostly leg strength. I need advice on how to train for the 800 meter run because i have never ran this and believe i can do good in it. What do I need to work on in this offseason to really bring a show come around track?

you probably will want to work on building up some stamina for the longer distance. mile and 5k runs might help.
