first of all i am sorry for your loss. I had m/c on the 5th Nov, I was also 5 1/2 weeks pregnant. I was absolutely devastated and truthfully i still am but straight away i felt the urge to try again. like you, i asked when i was right to start trying again but i felt i had to start trying straight away. I started ttc 3 weeks later, it was 6 weeks to the day my period came and it was so so painful nobody had warned me how painful it would be i had alot of clots and pain i felt like i was miscarrying all over again (apparently this is normal and after the first period things should begin to go back to normal....fingers crossed!) Any way, i have been taking my vitamins now for almost two months as my gp told me folic acid is important before conception and me and my partner have enjoyed our xmas ttc again. I am hoping that this month is our month. When you feel ready hun start trying again, never give up hope and look after your body and a little miracle will come along. x

When I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks, I had my D & C and got told to wait for 2-4 months. I didnt listen as you know when you are ready to try. I lost my baby in March and by the end April was pregnant again. So keep trying and good luck to you x

I had a miscarriage 5 years ago and I did need a D&C, my ob/gyn at the time told me wait until after my first normal period and I could start trying. I hadn't been trying in the first place, so I didn't, but that is what I was told.

Good Luck!

I'm sorry for you hun.

I'm not sure when your period will arrive but your g.p should have told you when you can try again. Advice differs from when you feel ready to suggesting that you wait until you've had 3 or 4 periods. Most common advice seems to be that 6 weeks after miscarriage is generally safe.

Good lood ttc again.

~X~

Soon, as your body recovers from your miscarriage. Miscarriage is like the process of giving birth too!. So just wait, sometimes it depends on individuals body system how it reacts to it. Have enough rest and take your daily vitamins for your body to get well.

Before I got pregnant with my son I had a miscarriage and a month later was pregnant with my son, I know the doctors say it's risky but my son's already 9 years old and Thank God he's in great health and no complications in the pregnancy.

I believe your supposed to wait a minimum of 3m to give your body a chance to recover. So I would wait the 3m and ask your doctor.

it depends on your natural period rhythm, when i lost my baby i was 6 weeks, and i had another period 6 weeks later, you just need to give your body time to recover, good luck
