A Lincoln
J Carter
J F Kennedy
B Clinton
Linoln and Kennedy, both fought for civil liberties, lincoln through his war abolished slavery and maintained the unification of the US. The kennedies carried this through with the civil rights movement and their ongoing movements to help the poor and underpriviledged both at home and throughout the world.
Jimmy Carter I just adore, he was a good man, a man who was truly of faith, and did so much for foreign relations and world peace and lastely Clinton was extremely intelligent, decisive and without question did a great deal to reverse the economical damage done by preceding administrations.

FDR...showed true leadership during the depression, instituted policies (social security, welfare) turning the government into a true service for its citizens, kept US out of WWII until given no choice and then entered the war to win. The Republicans have been trying to reverse FDR's works every since and yet his legacy lives on because his "liberal" policies are the right way to treat people.

George Washington, it went down from then! Lincoln was not as good as people were taught. When you have the people leading, who needs a modern day president? The people we send to washington, would deny us that.

My pick is Lincoln, though I'm always tempted to say William Henry Harrison. He made the fewest mistakes of any of them.
