We all judge people subconsciously, whether we intend to or not. Scientific studies show we will respond better to people who are more like ourselves, or who are seen to be good looking.
An attractive person broke down alongside the road will be helped faster than an "ugly" one, any day of the week, regardless of gender.
It takes an active effort on everyone's part to keep these subconscious judgements from impacting our actions.

Judging people by their looks is unfair, but they act as they really are. How can you say a person is "really" one way if s/he acts in a different way?
Even the way somehow looks often reveals the personality. Long or short hair? Facial hair? Piercings, tattoos, and clothes all help us understand people. Does the person think personal appearance is important? How does she feel about fashion? What is the person's attitude towards physical fitness and exercise?
Prejudgment based entirely on looks (or prejudice) is wrong, but how a person dresses and acts are the only things we really have upon which to judge. Words can help, but actions are more important.

I only judge people when I get to know the personally.Not by the way they act when I first met them because There probably putting on a show.

i think you have to look at both. a lot of times first impressions turn out to be correct... & u can tell a lot about a persons personality the way they chose to dress & act. & u can also guess peopels intentions by outward apearence...i'd be more likely to go over to a group of giggling girls beconing me at an amusment park, then soem skinny old dude n a trenchcoat @ the same place.
you cant help making soem judgements about a person just by apearence, but generally i give people the benefit of the doubt until i get to know them personally. â¥

I find that I feel people out before I even speak to them...but that is not to say I am judging them...I am being cautious, one has to be.
