My husband works in the oil field and I'm having a hard time getting his clothes clean.

Use Tide!!! I also found if you spray the clothes with Grease Lightning or add about a cup of Grease Lightning to the load it works wonders!!!!

I use Simple Green (from the automotive section of a store) to pre-treat and then Biz with a good detergent like Tide. Also try using the hottest water possible. I sometimes have to wash oily clothes twice.

dawn dishwashing liquid. My husband like to work on cars and is always greasy and using a cup of dawn rather than detergent it works great!!

My husband is a mechanic, and the only thing I've found to get out all the oil (and the smell) is TIDE

I use Tide with Oxi Clean. I always do a second rinse.

when I get a oil spot I will pretreat the spot with Dawn dish detergent

just add oxi clean to the load of laundry and no other soap! works wonders i have tryed it

add a small drop of dawn to your wash load.
