In order to be what is ususally termed Nursing Aid Assistant. Qualifications generally require you to take courses to learn how to appropiately care for the people that you want to take care of. Be it the elderly, younger people, in the nursing home, hospital, or at home. Your community college generally offers classes neccessary to qualify to achieve your purpose. You will learn many things. From the legal aspects to what your daily tasks are and how to accomplish them. You will also have to take what is called state boards. If you pass then you will be a Certified Nursing Assistant. Some times the organization called Headstart will offer this course. If you cannot afford the course, financial help is generally available.

Usually you take a 4-6 week course and take a test and then you can work in a nursing home. There are some courses where you have to pay a fee and other courses that are offered free if you promise to work for the nursing home once you graduate. Call a nursing home that you are interested in working at and see if they run CNA courses.

you need to got a school like DEVRY or CONCORDE. Not only do you have to take the courses but you also need to pass the final exam to get certified. This is the fastest way, unless you want to go to college for a couple of years. good luck
