Two of my brothers friends (who I hate a lot) came to my house looking for my brother on Friday. When they all came running back, the police sirens were ringing so I locked them out the door until the sirens went away hoping the police would catch them. When they came back, they told me they left a bag of crap in the middle of main street and then someone ran over it.
I threatened to turn them in if they didn't leave, but my brother said "If you turn them in, I'll get in trouble too.
And apparently, if my brother gets caught, my mom will loose custody over us.
Should I turn them in anyways?

These guys cause problems all the time and always gets my brother into it. One time, they broke into 3 houses, another time harrassed my sisters. We're always telling my brother not to let them near our house but he's too hooked into letting them come over.
They only let me know all the stupid things they do cuz they know if I tell someone, we won't be allowed to stay with our mom anymore (whole custody thing. If my brother gets a record while with her, then that gives my dad more of a reason for us to stay with him and take all of my moms money.)

Although it was a disgusting prank, nobody really got hurt. They were just being boys. If that's the worse they do, do you really think it would be worth going to a foster home over it? You're not your brother's keeper. If he wants to be a jerk, let him. Why mess up your life more than it already is. Let it go. Tell your brother that you will find a way to get even with him. Even if you don't do anything maybe he will have some fear instilled in him. I would just let it go. Unless of course you don't want to be with your family anymore and want to be placed within the system. Then you have no idea what will happen to you. This way you at least have a roof over your head and YOU are able to lock the doors. Not someone locking YOU in or out.

No, I would not. Just ask them to stay away from your home. You should talk to your Mom about your brother, before it is too late.(I don't think she will lose custody because of what your brother does, unless there is more to this than what you said)

Did your brother tell you this? About your mom losing custody? He could be trying to pull a fast one on you. The best thing to do is to talk to you mother and let her give you advice on what to do.

This is something you have to really think about. Is it really worth losing your family over this. I suggest you talk to your mom so she can take care of it. Obviously, your brother's friends are a bad influence and should be banned from coming to your house. Please talk to your mom because there's nothing better than having your family together.

poop in the middle of the street lead to police intervention? well if you no longer want to live with your mom and you're 110% sure of this turn them in. If not don't turn them in.
