Jordan's prime Lebron today.... MJ has advantage because of knowledge and experience. James is good and given more time playing at this level it would be a intriguing match up. As far as people saying that this era does not match up to the 80's and 90's when MJ played just think about this players are bigger faster and stronger overall today and they are playing with rules that do not allow the type of physical play that Jordan got away with. I like today's NBA just not the officials.

Michael would have a tough time if Lebron posted him up because of his size. But if Lebron tryed to beat him by attacking the basket, Jordan would shut him down.

Lets be real, Jordan would destroy Lebron when both were young. Jordan always won every one on one battle he played in, lets go down the list:
Magic
Clyde Drexler
Dominique Wilkens
Bird (Remember 63 points?)
Even Kobe
What always separated Michael Jordan was his competitive drive and killer instinct.

Good question; I'd have to give it to James even though Michael Jordan propelled the sport more than James ever will

god. Lebron James is not that good!. im sick of hearing how hes a god! he isnt.
heres why
1. he wasnt that good in high school. yeah if your 6-8 you should be in the highlite reels when your playing against people that are maybe 6 foot.
2. Jordan played against amazing players..not like today where the leading scorer is carmelo anthony. haha. allen iverson and kobe bryant are the only players who could suceed in old NBA when jordan played. and iverson showed that by owning jordan in his rookie year.
but back to my point
Jordan played against legends like
Charles barley
Patrick ewing
alonzo mourning
John stockton
karl malone
gary payton
shawn kemp
grant hill
an dmany others...all in there prime.
what im trying to say is that jordan would beat any player ever. except for allen iverson for sheer audacity and speed or julius erving...for just being the greatest to play the game.

10-12 years ago when M.J. was in his prime, he could beat everyone.
Today, it's all LeBron. I doubt that there's anyone who could beat LeBron in a 1-on-1 today.

Today, I'd say James wins it. Back in the day, Jordan.
