The way you feel when you make it. If you know that something good will come out of it, then you know it is a good decision overall. And also the outcome of that decision.

History, will tell you if it was a good decision or a bad one. Now, what do I mean by that. You will make a decision with all the information that you have available at the time. Only hindsight will tell you if it was a good decision or a bad one. How does one develop good decision making skills? From bad decisions! Hopefully, we will not make the same decision given our experience with the prior one. When faced with a decision, look to see who might get hurt if you make a decision one way or another. Ask yourself, what are the consequences of this decision and if you can live with them then go for it. But remember this, nobody can make you do anything that you do not want to do.

When you make a bad desicion it's almost like you absolutely know. But the problem is when you make a good desicion, it takes time to realize the joy of it and how well you actually thought it through. It's a really difficult question, but the answer is simple.
When you make a bad decision you know for sure and you want to change yourself and whatever choice you decided upon. You feel out of place and like nothing is right. At least from my experiance, i try my hardest to fix it but sometimes the choice you've made is so wrong that there's no undoing anything.
When you make a good decision it usually takes you a while to know, either that or you know what you did was the perfect choice instantly. But even though it seems to be the best decision, which it probably is, it has just as much perks as it has downs, maybe even as much downs as making the wrong choice.
You have to know that nobody is perfect and whether you made the best possible decision you could have or done the worst thing imaginable, it's up to you always. Nobody 'makes' you do anything, it's up to you. Sometimes you just don't know when you're about to be in a bad scene and youblow off whatever it was that your parents told you when you walked out the door that morning. You just can't predict with this world and so my final answer is:
You have the power of you and whatever decision you make is up to you and if you know that it's a wrong or bad choice then you have a feeling inside that wants to help you fix it. And the righ choice IS to fix it, because there is no harm in that, is there?
I'm assuming that you made a bad decision, or you want to know if whatever you decided upon was the right thing to do. But no. Nothing is the right thing to do. Because everyone always says that life is about making mistakes and making mistakes is what we're known for and the actual RIGHT thing to do is beneath your eyes and inside your heart and buried deep in your mind. It's your beliefs and nobody can make you change whatever it is that you believe in but you. Nobody.
I hope that i answered your question and that i at least kinda sorta helped you figure SOMETHING OUT!
HAPPY NEW YEAR AND I HOPE THAT THIS YEAR IS FILLED WITH MORE RIGHT'S THAN IT IS WITH WRONG'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-CARLY
PS. Don't do anything that you wouldn't do if your parents were around. I mean, don't be a goody goody, people hate those, but don't be naughty 24/7.

What the decision does to you and the people around you and if you think it is the best choice then it is a good decision for you. Others might not think that but you have to believe in yourself

Ah, the age old question. What makes a decison bad is what is morally right, which is different to different people. There is no universal method to determine whether a decision is good or bad. If you have any doubts about the decison, then chances are the decison isn't 100% good.

On a scale, the more serious the problem, or subject, the easier the decision is concluded. On the other end of that scale, they are known as toss-ups. In either case, the outcome detirmines the right / wrong.

How you feel about it in your gut. Good decisions are sometimes hard to make but all of us know when we are doing the right thing for the right reasons.
