By that I mean hard graft rather than chemicals for everything. I am not perfect but am quite prepared to do my bit to help the environment. Take our time to do things rather than the easy way out.

, I use a natural stone cream, it´s the best thing since sliced bread, clean´s almost everything, silver ,brass,stainless steal, windows , great for getting rid of lime scale, and many more thing´s, so no need for bleach etc, yes I agree Happy New Year

When you consider all the chemical pollutants in the world today, household bleach is insignificant. In addtion, there is no equal to cleaning bathrooms and killing bacteria that present much greater hazards to humans than bleach.
The major sources of pollutants today are caused by the burning of carbon based fuels. If you are willing to do your part, then you need to buy a bicycle, use mass transportation, and recycle.

In our world today there are so many more bacteria and germs around .200 yrs ago women stayed home all day just to cook and clean.Today many women work outside the home and don't have all day to scrub a tub when a simple product does this.
200 years ago our life spans were much lower than today.We now understand the importance of cleanliness and the part it plays in being healthy.
We now have diseases that were not around 200 years ago.
The good old days were really not so good.

The chemicals used for cleaning are very effective, and can be removed from the water supply afterwards easily. Not using them will not help save the planet and it will place people at risk from disease.
If you want to do your bit, look at reducing your carbon footprint. Sell the car, turn the thermostat indoors down, use public transport or walk.

Why don't we all go back to living in caves, let's not fight disease let's spread it. Let hunger rage throughout the World, let's all just live in the past where everything was just fine and dandy, black death and everything else that was so bloody wonderful.
