I can NOT stop biting my nails...HELP!....how can I stop?

I have the same exact problem, try this stuff that you coat on you nails its called thumb it is sooo gross tasting, but if that doesn't work I was watching Dr.Phil one day and he said that if you have a habit you want to stop/quit you have to replace the habit with another habit that isn't bad.that's waht he said

The manicure idea is good - just think about how you're wasting the money you paid to get your nails pretty. The following worked for me: add some garlic or garlic oil to some clear nail polish. Mix it up and let it sit for a day and then paint your nails with it. It will taste SO nasty that you'll stop biting.

put nail polish
tabacco
or clear nail polish but before it dry's sprinkle pepper on each nail
p.s. if none of those worked go to cvs and put on fake nails
p.p.s. or wear gloves all the time

Get a french manicure and whenever you want to bite your nails you'll think twice because they are so pretty and hard........ hope this helps.

You can try getting really pretty fake nails...you can't bite those!

get the dirt from under your nails and look at it under a microcope, once you see all those germs moving around you wont want to put them in your mouth ever again, yuk!

cut them short so you dont have anything to bight. or paint your nails.
