This could be an issue with a codec in Windows Media Player. You can find info on that from Microsoft at this link: www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/forpros/format/codecdoenload.aspx

Or you could try reinstalling WMP altogether, which is probably simpler.

umm, it doesn't takes an idiot to figure out that it's probably you pc speakers. or the sound card on your pc is way out of date.
