The corporate offices that run these news media desire the public that view these media to see the world from their point of view. Not all media are biased in this way, some companies strive to give an unbiased view, but they are the minority. Basically, it's what makes them the most money, and keeps them in good graces with the more liberal government, entertainment and education institutions.

The mainstream media is so liberal biased, because it is playing to your emotions. Would all tho of people what the news if it was boring? No they would not. Liberal issues tend to be emotionally charged than conservative ones, although the conservatives ones probably have more to do with your everyday life its not so interesting because it is everyday.

It probably seems that way to you because you are one of those confused right wingers that thinks that anyone who presents information that is unflattering to your side must be an enemy or rival.
The simple answer is that the media reports whatever sells. The big corporate media is going to show whatever gets the best ratings at lowest expense. If that's Bush making a fool of himself, that's what they will show. If it's friendly fire deaths in Iraq, that's going on. If it's how Hillary Clinton took bribes while she was General Counsel for Wal-Mart -- that's going in.
Conservatives and Republicans suffer from a strange affliction that anyone who dares to present unflattering information must be some sort of Communist subversive.
It' really quite ridiculous. Either it means a very low level of thought by that person, or it represents a calculated political ploy to rally the conservative base.
For asking this question, you are either:
1. One of the conservatives that suffers the affliction of poor quality thinking.
2. One of the suckers energized by this cynical ploy by party leaders.
3. One of the cynical leaders attempting to perpetuate this myth on this Yahoo! board.
My guess is #1 -- low level of thinking.

And who OWNS the yankee information media? If we are speaking television (and far of radio) this is owned by those radical, left-wing, Christian-bashing, gay-lovin' communist sympathizers at Disney, Westinghouse and accepted electric powered. Above and previous all else, the yankee information media shows a professional-organization and professional-status quo bias. the information media is fullyyt too reliant on company press releases, authorities press releases and advertising funds to be "liberal" or "left wing." And if the BBC extremely is "biased in the route of the left" a minimum of they don't spend maximum folk of their newscasts reporting on superstar pregnancies, superstar weddings, superstar divorces and different crap that has actual NO result on our lives.
