They will go with Brady Quinn. Troy Smith is rated behind Quinn and Brian Brohm and if LaMarcus Russell declares he will be rated the 2nd best QB making Smith the 4th QB picked (near the end of the 1st round, maybe even the top of the second). Besides I think the raiders may actually figure out that you cant keep getting questionable character players (Smith seems like he learned from his past but money has a funny way of bringing out bad behavior....can you say Randy Moss!!!). Quinn plays in a pro set offensive system and is as close to NFL ready as anyone...most scouts rank him as being as or more NFL ready than anyone since Peyton Manning. If you are a Raider fan you might as well run out and get a Quinn jersey now...be among the first in your town to own the obvious.

Troy Smith??? There is no way in hell they take Troy Smith, unless they take him with the 1st pick of the SECOND round. No one is even looking at him till at least the 20th pick. You have to take Brady Quinn with that pick. He is by far the most NFL ready QB coming out. The only other person worthy of a #1 would be Adrian Peterson, but the Raiders have a decent run game and need a QB badly.

Notre Dame's Brady Quinn is the top senior quarterback and Wisconsin offensive tackle Joe Thomas is also expected to be a very high pick.

The Raiders have taken a quarterback in the first round only twice since the AFL-NFL merger in 1970. They used the No. 24 pick on Todd Marinovich in 1991 and the fifteenth pick on Marc Wilson in 1980.

They could be hesitant to take another tackle out of the Big Ten with the No. 2 pick after failing with the selection of Gallery in 2004.

Two juniors that could come out early and be of interest to the Raiders are Georgia Tech receiver Calvin Johnson and LSU quarterback JaMarcus Russell. Oakland also could choose to trade down in the draft to add more picks or players to fill the multiple holes on the offense.

.the desire take JAMARCUS RUSSELL QB | L.S.U. The raiders desire a QB and may want to be stupid in the journey that they did not draft a QB even as they'd the chance. a good number of communities in all likelihood have Brady Quinn because the suitable rated quarterback. inspite of the indisputable fact that Al Davis likes Russell at 6-6 and 260 pounds Russell has uncommon length for the area and has been compared to Daunte Culpepper yet what extremely stands proud about him is his arm, that are maximum effective at any element of the game. The upside and may want to help carry the vertical passing sport lower back the Bay. The handed on Matt Leinart and Jay Cutler very last year. They cant locate the money for to bypass on a QB this year.

My boy BRADY QUINN. Troy Smith played college football with the shotgun like 5 times on every drive. You won't survive in the pros like that. And Brady has already been taught the pro style offense. Who was he taught by? Charlie Weis. Who did Charlie Weis teach? Tom Brady. How many rings does Brady have? Three. Not a hard decision for the Raiders.

Quinn may not look like a Raider, but he's probably more ready to become an NFL QB than Smith.

I'd say Quinn or Peterson.

It's not going to be Troy Smith.
