Just got home from the mall and notice alot of teenager boys wearing tight jeans. When I was a teenager in the late 80s and early 90s very baggy jeans was in style.
Now i'm older and I still wear baggy jeans because that is what I am used to, so is this tight jean thing just a regional California thing or is it across the country?

now, teenage guys were girl pants (basically girls jeans) so thats whts in for guys. its a teen thing, so it depends on how oldu are if they are in style for u.

These fads come and go in time. I think if we all had a place to store what is no longer the "in" thing and wait, then in time, they'll be back, and we'd already have the style at home. Just think how much money we'd save! If it took longer to come back in style, we could give it to our kids savings even more money.
Fads seem to start in California and go East.
Why worry what is or is not the latest thing? I like to see people wear what is good on them. I see tight legged jeans, flair bottoms, bell bottoms, straight leg, capris, split skirts, etc. What I don't like but loved as a teen a long time ago is the micro mini skirt. I saw a program of fashion beauty with a modeling agency speaker sitting down to talk to the moderator, a mother in her 30's and her 14 year old daughter. The modeling agent was saying how well she was dressed and telling the teen's mother she bet they fight over fashions. DUH! So what else is new under the sun!!! What looked bad was we in the television audience could see all the way up the teen's skirt!!! Another fashion "no no" I hope leaves soon is the short crop top and low cut jeans. It is embarrassing for those of us out there to see pre-teens and teens and some 20 somethings butt cracks! Mothers of babies and toddlers expose themselves maybe not even knowing it to God knows who! Isn't it bad enough we have men out there that are predators let alone giving them something to look at and think about! We live in a very dangerous world. Fashion sense only makes sense when it is for each individual person in mind with good taste and not forced upon because "everyone is wearing it." Well, not everyone should wear it! Be yourself and look great. Don't let a fad separate you from your hard earned money. Either you are a person, a created unique individual, or you are a cookie cutter being whose peers affect your judgement and who the real you really is! Your choice!
As to the tight jeans, I thought one reason why they had left was due to the infertility of men that was proven to be caused by how sperm was affected. I can remember wearing my jeans tight and wearing them with having female infections that doctors said to get rid of them.

Well I really think that if you are comfortable in baggy jeans you shouldn't change/follow the trend.Make your own trend, find yourself amongst the millions of different people with millions of different styles, views of fashion,and what he/she likes best.
Oh and of course to answer your question the way you want........Most of the guys at my school wear baggy jeans, and personally to me I would rather they wear the baggy jeans the other ones look bad.

Tight jeans are more of a California thing. In my area, if a guy wore tight jeans he would never be able to show his face again...

i noticed the same thing, i live in boston though. as far as tight jeans they have always been in style for girls, it seems to be making a comeback though for boys.
not sure if it will catch on for the 20-30 crowd though because most of us still sport 90's styles.

LOL tight pants california LOL! Alot of gay men out there. In NY guys still wear baggy pants. Real Men anyway lol!

i dont know but im a girl and i love tight jeans i dont like baggy jeans they are uncomfortable for me...but even if htey go "out of style" im still wearing them! :)
ps a lot of guys at my school wear tight jeans too

Everybody- men and women- think they should look like Audrey Hepburn, thanks to clothing adds for skinny pants. Not all look good. Some are too tight. Many just look like human sausages. People are willing to look stupid to be in fashion. You may want to try for a less baggy look, but do not go so tight if you just look stuffed.

Tight pants on boys usually means that they are skateboarders, but the skinny jeans for girls is in right now.

skater guys tend to wear tight or tapered jeans or girl pants, andits mainly skaters, but the fad has reached all the way out to ohio, but girls also wear skinny jeans a lot now.. but i wouldnt say baggy is dead

I'm on the east coast and guys wear tight GIRL jeans, but only the skinny emo guys. I'm guessing you kinda old, so not to be rude or anything, but dont try to dress young, it actually makes you look harder, stick to what you wear now. I'm sure it looks great on you.
