Your landlord needs to hire someone. It's his house, his job to pay for it!

Your choice of boric acid is (IMHO) good; it's less hazardous, you do need to leave it down tho for it to work and continue to work; it takes some time. However, in an apartment complex the rest of your neighbors would need to be cooperative too. Cockroaches can feed off of any food particles that are left available; if your neighbors "feed" them, then the roaches will dine there, but be happy to visit you and see what you have from time to time.

Cockroaches are some of the best survivors you can imagine. As outside gets colder, they tend to migrate indoors; same with ants.

The stuff you have done is working. You obviously have neighbors that are infested and re-infesting you. Your landlord needs to pay for the eradication of these beasts. You may have originally eliminated the attack troops, now you have the waves of the chinese army!

Worst case you need to move away and try not to take along any hitch hikers.

Do you have other tennants? How do they keep their place? Boric acid good, I just answered another about DE (diatomacious earth) for pool filters, its safe. But you're still not going to win.. get a couple of geckos and let them run loose. It'll be a feast for 'em!

Boric acid, it is very effective when used properly for killing cockroaches and most other insects. You can also get a house lizard, they are natural enemies and will eat them. More information at http://tinyurl.com/ofxkk

I'm not sure what else you could try, yes the landlord needs to pay for the exterminator, but be sure if any die that you flush them they'll hatch babies even after they are dead.

Have you try-ed a sticky trap for mice or rats?
