The closest meaning in arabic to "Jedi" is grandfather.
I think George Lucas chose this cos he wanted a word which sounds fantastical without any pre-concieved definitions.
He also used the word force liberally as the exact word he was looking for was "farce".

There's no school but you could buy yourself a copy of the do-it-yourself Jedi manual not available from good book stores everywhere. Or don't log on to www.jedi_i_must_be.com

Don't let anyone tell you any different.
Go to a convention (Star Wars convention) ~ buy a cloak then a lightsabre.
Be careful when using it and the force will be with you .............
