The Pirates used to wear a gold hoop through their ear, a pierced earring. This was incase the ship went down and they lost all there possessions, if they were to drown they would still have something to pay the piper and buy their passage to Heaven with.

go to your library and do a search of different books. If you have a small tiny library that barely has any books then I'd look up different books on here on the internet.
