my friends are just like me they dress punk, they're all hilarious, they're pretty daring, and they also took their time to buy me a christmas present with their own money! My friends names are Matt and Bri, we're all 13 years-old, and we hang out at least once a week unless my freakin' mom interferes. They aren't bad kids except Matt curses but not in front of her because we shut his face if he does! help me please! why do you think she has a problem with them?

She just wants the best for you, one friend with a bad influence will ruin your life and she probably knows that. Ask her to sit down with your friends and get to know them, if they truly are your Mom will see that in them and maybe cut you a break. If they are bad your Mom will see that too.

OK, here's some advice that I learned from somebody. There's prbly an unknown reason why she has a problem with your friends. Some people will say that she just wants the best for you. But what about you? So next time your mom interferes do not start up an argument. Ways to not start up an argument is by trying to understand her. That is the hey. Trust me. It is understanding. You have to understand and validate her feelings before telling what you think. By doing so she will be more susceptible to listening to your view. So when she starts stating her point of view of why she has a problem, for example say things like: "I feel that you are angry" Use words like "I feel....." "So you're saying......." and restate what she has just said. Who knows? Maybe you'll find the true reason of why she has a problem with your friends.

Like any other mother, all she wants is the best for you. Every mother has a problem with atleast one friend.
My mom used to be the same way, but sooner or later she realized those where the people that i cared about and that as long as they did not interfere with my education and didnt get me into trouble it was fine.
Your mom will come around eventually but its her first instinct to try and guide you to the right people and friends.

talk to her about it. ask her why she has a problem with them. Maybe she has a problems of her own. Mom's just want the best for their kids, or most of them do. She sounds like she really cares and is a good mother. Ask her who she wants you to hang around with and why.

We are all products of our environment. We adapt to our surroundings. We become the company we keep. There must be something she sees in your friends she doesn`t want to see in you. Looks may have alot to do with this.

maybe ur mom doesnt want to be goth, and many times, goth ppl are associated with drugs and depression. u have to tell her all the nice things they have done for u, and u MUST ask her why she doesnt like them, so u can clear that up.

I don't really think her problems are with them ,she is probably worried about you.At your age we all think we know everything,that nothing happens with us,that our mother doesn't understand us,she is old fashion and bla bla bla.Mothers always wants the best for their kids and they know better.be more patient with her .you will understand everything when you have your own kids.

moms always try to do what they think is best and usually they are WAY over protective of there kid .maybe if you talk to her and ask her why she doesn't like them and make her listen to you too.Good luck.

she probably doesn't like their appearance, or yours for that matter. parents don't usually go for the punk look. keep in mind that parents can't be bought and you will have to build their trust in you and your friends
