well to become a better dancer you could get a video that teaches you how to dance and practice a lot or you could find a dance instructor to teach you

Take a class...and if you already are, talk to your teacher about maybe helping you in a privite lesson. Now, if your talking about the type of dancing you dance at clubs, you could take hip-hop.

dance classes and practice. i take ballet/pointe classes (i use to do jazz, tap, clogging, lyrical) and i practice a lot to my fave music.
stretching is important and loosing up your limbs by moving your legs around and move your arms in circles, etc. if your into ballet/pointe/lyrical strong ankles are important. relevae (go up in deme-pointe.....on your toes) over and over, that's a good excersise.

keep dancin!
