My cousin has about 140 songs or somethign like that... and the thing is almost full . I thought ipods could fit much more. Is there a way to make them smaller so more fits? He is kind of disappointed that he can't fit more

what do you guys mean How big are the songs he has? they are normal songs. not 10 minute songs of course. just like 2 minutes or less... or something like that.. You know, regular songs he downloaded or bought in itunes.

The 2GB nano is quite pathetic for holding a lot of songs. I used a music editor and reduced the quality of mine slightly and managed to get 200 on it but that's about the limit.

This nano is said to hold about 500 songs, but your cousin might have a lot of LONG songs.

ok make sure you are using 132kbs songs, not higher... others are 300 something.. 362 i think... this makes the songs almost 3 times as large... 132kbs songs will fit nearly 500 songs on that nano.

i have a 2 GB ipod and i have about 230 songs on it...and there is about 800 MB left.how big are the files that he puts on it? that could be the problem

take it back..get ur money back ...and buy an ipod with more SPACE...then u will be satisfied..
