Broke my toe yesterday and today it's totally black and blue (middle toe).

Are there any tips/tricks to broken toe? Just gotta wait it out?

Say nice things to it. Buy it flowers. Don't take it for granted, and let it know it's special. You don't want to seem too eager to please though, so make sure you take a firm stance on things from time to time. Love it tricky, but if you work hard enough at it, your toe will love you as much as you love it.

Anything broken should be taken to the ER. It should be splinted to the next toe, however at the ER they will take care of it for you and give you instructions how to treat it. If you take this broken toe to the ER carefully it will get better under the care of the Physician on duty, and they usually have some very nice nurses there . Get well soon Happy New Year

Watch where you walk. I swear, furniture will jump out of nowhere to hit you in your already bad toe. Took mine about 5 weeks to mend. Maybe it wouldn't have taken so long were it not for that sneeky furniture. Oh, and aspirin for the swelling and pain. Good luck.

Dang, that is rough! tie it to the next toe beside it (not the big toe). Tape is not good as you want to be able to remove the "tie" whenever you shower.
