they assume that americans (legal or illegal) speak the queens english or even euro english, when in fact we speak american which is a loose off kilter and unique form of the english language , which is made from all languages and then new slang terms of our own as well !, and if they had payed attention while in our universitys and colages while they (the rich foreigners that is)were here to get their educations, then they would know such a simple and logical part of our culture !

I am in the United States and I think your spelling alone shows a lack of respect not only for grammar/spelling, but for other peoples/countries. You should always capitalize the name/accepted alias for a country or heritage.

I really don't care or let it get to me. I minored in English in college but, when I am typing on a site like this - I make mistakes and don't use proper english. I know my intelligence and when someone corrects me - I just laugh.

What about grammar, too?

I believe you mean 'other countries CORRECTING our spelling'

I accept that Americans spell certain words differently like 'theater' and 'paleontology' so don't tar us all with the same brush.

I'd also point out that this isn't exactly a science question.

There are some words you spell differently, but acceptably according to the american dictionnaries, but very often you spell wrongly even for american standards. i would be glad to be corrected, but it seems Americans don't want to learn from their mistakes.
