To put myself through college, I worked as one. I was always called stupid, got cigartette smoke blown in my face, and yelled at b/c of the rates. I chose the job b/c I could study and do my homework while there were no cars exiting. Also b/c I made 8.50 an hour. Please, no snide remarks. I now work as a personal secretary.

Some people have a false sense of superiority. You can always judge a person's character by how they treat waitstaff, parking attendants and the like. I respect anyone who works for a living.

Sometimes people have feel superior. Their lives suk, and they rationalize that "I'm better than a parking attendant". If they got to know you, they wouldn't get that feeling. Sort of like that Psychology theory "I'm OK and You're not". The same people tear others down in their minds to deal with them on the same level. it's easier than building themselves up.
Happy New Year.
