There is a bigfoot museum in Felton California, which is about four miles from where I live and grew up. I had noticed it but never paid much attention because I figured it was a tourist trap. Then I saw an article in the local paper and someone at the museum was saying that local legend has it...big foot sightings locally...blah blah blah... A bunch of crap. Around here anyway. If there were bigfoot sightings in this area years ago, I would have heard about it growing up. I don't know if bigfoot is real or not, and unless I'm destined to meet him in the deep dark woods someday I don't really care. But that museum in Felton, full of crap.

The evidence for bigfoot goes way beyond the argument that it might be gigantopithecus. There seems to be something ingrained in modern science that can easily accept an giant "ape" but not accept a giant hominid, defined as any of the genus Homo, Australopithecus, or Paranthropus even though it is not known if Gigantopithecus was bipedal. There are plenty of possible bipedal fossil species that may have survived to present. To assume gigantopithecus which is known by a few teeth and jaw fragments represents bigfoot cannot be known. Gigantopithecus does prove that a giant hominoid is possible. Bigfoot has a mountain of evidence for its existence from old legends, foot prints, casts of other body parts, hairs, scat, calls, smells, potential fossil evidence, thousands of reported sightings and other evidence.

Actually, it may be an ancient ape that scientist are beginning to believe may not have died out.. it's called gigantopithecus.

The North American Ape Project is working in the Northwestern United States to see if this may be what people are calling "bigfoot".

Lack of evidence does not evidence lack of existence.
For many years humans new nothing about many animals that exist among us.
Seahorses are discovered everyday that are so camouflaged with their environment we never noticed them before.

I have a challenge for you. You know bears exist. Go into the woods and find a dead bear. Good luck. You could search your whole life and not find one.
Besides ,as any real Sasquatch Hunter will tell you, Sasquatch eat their dead as they are very into environmental recycling.

My father-in-law swears he saw it (or something) bound up a hill faster than any man possibly could have. I have a friend whose father saw it (or something) too.

I don't think there is a bigfoot, though.
