Some seem to think that just cause you asked, it has to pretain to you. do you let anyone else asks questions while you are logged in to answers if they need \ want to ask about something?.

Excellent point. Sometimes I have asked questions on behalf of a friend, yes. I think in real life when I ask people I know a question they think I'm the one wanting to know, even if I'm asking for a friend (for real).

Gosh, I know what you mean, but I guess I don't have an answer for you. Many times family members or friends need an answer so I ask for them. If I had to answer, I'd say that some people aren't open-minded enough to realize that it's not only you or I that is asking. Have a Happy and great New Year!!! Just to be clear, I am the only one using my account. That's the way it should be for all users!!

People are presented with a question. They provide an answer. I personally don't care who actually wants the answer or if anybody is asking a question for somebody else. I just answer the question as if the person who needs their problem solved is right there in front of me.

why can't they get their own acount...under the user conditions it makes statements regarding single user per account...no one should have access to your account because they may do something insane and then you get blamed for it...ever notice this site collects personal information?

so...the reason they assume it pretains to you is because you are the one to be on your account. Don't let people on your account....bad things can happen...because sometimes the people we think are friends can't wait to do something and pawn it off on you,

Does not matter. We don't know who you are. Don't take the answers so personal. Remember that school is out for two weeks and there is a lot of kids playing on Yahoo Answers.

I don't let anyone else use my account to ask questions. I am also very careful not to give away very personal information in my questions.

If someone else wants to ask questions, it's free for them to make their own account.

If it doesn't pertain to you, just say so in the question. Don't let other people post with your account. Yahoo accounts are free, after all.

No because that usually ends up in a violation notice. I ask for people but do not care if they think its me or not.
