i recenly got insulted on here by someone called downrater, i went into his profile and he has answered 200 quetions, which most of them are insults! how is he getting away with this? he mocks sexuality, colour, ethnic origin even the was people look and talk, how is this allowed???!

just ignore people like that. the internet is famously used for purging aggression. nobody can punch you in the nose when you insult them and after all, to many people forums and others in them are not 'real'.
so don't let it affect you. in every walk of life there'll be good guys and arseholes. it's called diversity.

I am afraid I dont know, but this Downrater sounds a bit of a laugh so I will have a look,
I saw someone called theiving Gypsy who pretends to be a gypsy and insults others which works well.
I think it is unacceptable to insult other contributors, except foreigners and people from the south east of england, and Geortdies, and Liverpudlians, and Brummies and Morris Dancers and Homos, and Moped riders, and Skoda Drivers, and those who dont drink Cider and them as can't handle their drink and Jonathan Porritt and all the other "Environmentalists" who do 5 miles on a push bike and 50 000 on aeroplanes.

There's someone else who only insults people on here too as far as I can see,he writes totally banal yet disgusting answers.I saw the answer that downrater left you too,he was so rude.Its stupid that someone can racially insult people and yet yahoo removes questions for silly reasons such as using the word feces.Seems like they need to review their policy

Did you report him? I'm not sure what Yahoo does to people who have been repeatedly reported for such things as foul language, racial slurs and other "violations" BUT I would think, if he got enough complaints then he would eventually get kicked out of Y!answers (that doesn't mean he can't return with a new name and profile). I think it's best to ignore people like that and don't give them the satisfaction of a response (they are just looking for attention).

I dont think this site is properly policed. The majority of people on here are great, but you are always going to have a minority that will try and spoil it for others. You just gotta ignore them.
